No window exists where everyone is inside their working hours. Someone will need to shift their hours, or the meeting should rotate between regions.

Offsets come from your browser's timezone database, so daylight saving is always current. Public holidays and individual calendars are not considered.

About Timezone Overlap & Meeting Time Finder

Timezone Overlap & Meeting Time Finder solves the scheduling problem distributed teams hit every week: finding the hours when everyone is actually at their desk. Add each teammate’s timezone and their working hours, set a minimum meeting length, and the tool checks every hour of the day against every person’s window and reports the contiguous blocks where all of them are available. Results are shown in whichever timezone you choose plus UTC, and working windows that cross midnight are handled correctly for anyone on a night shift. All offset calculations come from your browser’s own Intl timezone database, which means daylight saving transitions are always right and there is no rate table in this tool that will ever go stale. A current-offsets panel shows each zone’s UTC offset so you can sanity-check the result at a glance.

Key Features

  • Browser Timezone Database

Offsets come from Intl.DateTimeFormat, so daylight saving is always correct for the current date and no data file needs maintaining.

  • Contiguous Window Detection

Groups consecutive available hours into blocks and filters out anything shorter than your meeting length.

  • Midnight-Crossing Windows

A working window like 22:00 to 06:00 is handled correctly, which matters for night shifts and follow-the-sun teams.

  • Per-Person Working Hours

Each teammate gets their own start and end hours rather than one global assumption, since local norms differ.

  • Choose Your Display Timezone

Results shown in the zone you pick alongside UTC, so you can paste times straight into an invite.

  • No Overlap Detection

Says plainly when no window exists, which is itself useful information — it means someone has to move their hours.

How to Use

  1. 1

    Add each teammate

Pick their timezone and set their working start and end hours in 24-hour format.

  2. 2

    Add more rows as needed

Use the add button for each additional person or region you need to accommodate.

  3. 3

    Set the meeting length

Windows shorter than this are filtered out, so you only see slots that actually fit the meeting.

  4. 4

    Choose a display timezone

Results are shown in this zone, usually your own or the organiser’s.

  5. 5

    Read the overlap windows

Each row gives the window in your chosen zone, its length, and the equivalent UTC times.

Real-World Use Cases

A consultant checks whether any reasonable window exists with a client twelve hours away before proposing times.

Hiring Decision Input

A team lead evaluating a candidate in a distant timezone checks how much overlap the hire would actually have with the team.
